Building Maintenance
Description :
We are looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Worker to join our team!
- Experienced with tools (panel saw, table saw, miter saw, power tools, etc.)
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the United States
- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to drive a box truck or van for pick-ups and deliveries
- Forklift experience is not necessary but it is a plus
- Ability to work in a team and stand-alone environment
- Able to work in fast moving environment
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, as there is room for advancement
- Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work each day
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing miscellaneous maintenance and minor repair duties
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Assist with general warehouse labor tasks
- Other projects and duties assigned
- Maintains, installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces electrical equipment (e.g., light fixtures, electrical outlets, switches, motors, electrical circuits, etc.); may install wiring and cable for audio, video, and electrical systems
- Performs exterior grounds keeping duties as needed (removes snow and ice from walkways)
- Complies with all company safety regulations
- Performs interior custodial duties as needed (e.g., mops, sweeps, waxes floors, washes walls and windows, etc.).
