Budzar Industries, a leader in engineering, designing, and manufacturing process temperature control equipment is looking for an Electrical Controls Designer to join our engineering team.

Job Description

• Use of AutoCAD Electrical to generate electrical schematics, panel, and door Layouts of custom machinery.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical controls design aspects based on industrial designs compliant with UL508A and NFPA70.
• Participate in product and equipment design reviews with Project Engineer to determine components acceptable for the scope of design, that maximizes the functionality and reduces cost.
• Familiar with the selection and proper use of specified components.
• Coordinate with the design team application of P & ID, process flows, specifications, and system requirement to produce consistent design documentation.

The Ideal Candidate will live in the area and possess:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Detailed knowledge of industrial control systems, motor control, and field instrumentation.
• Ability to review drawings and datasheets produced by other disciplines to assure the interface is correct.
• Time management and organization skills to produce on time and accurate documentation.
• High level of communication skills to provide accurate project directions and status updates.

Experience:

• Electrical Design: 2 years (Preferred)
• AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software: 2 years (Preferred)

Education & Experience:

• Associates Degree for Drafting or higher and or combined directly related work experience.
• Currently certificate of completion of the UL 508A MTR (Preferred)
